Landscape Tradesperson

Civilscape is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Tradesperson to join our delivery team. This role is construction-focused only and suited to candidates with strong practical experience in landscape and civil external works.

You will work on well-planned commercial, civil and public domain projects as part of a structured and professional team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out landscape construction works to approved drawings and specifications
• Set out works, including levels and falls
• Construct paving, concrete paths and hardscape elements
• Build retaining walls (block, timber and modular systems)
• Install edging, steps, kerbs and associated finishes
• Assist with drainage, subgrade preparation and base works
• Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently
• Maintain site safety, quality and presentation standards

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in landscape construction
• Strong understanding of setting out, levels and falls
• Practical experience with:
• Paving (concrete, stone, porcelain)
• Concrete paths, slabs and finishes
• Retaining walls (segmental, timber, block systems)
• Subsoil drainage and base preparation
• Ability to read plans and follow construction details
• Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented
• White Card and current driver’s licence (essential)

Formal qualifications are advantageous; however, demonstrated construction experience is critical.
