Position Overview

 

We’re looking for a driven and commercially savvy Sales Consultant to own the full sales cycle, from qualified lead through to close. 

You thrive on winning new business and turning opportunities into lasting customer relationships. With a positive, can-do attitude, you’re confident using your sales and negotiation skills to overcome challenges and shift conversations. You build rapport with ease, adapt to different customer needs, and enjoy being part of a team while still taking ownership of your own results. 

 

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be conducting demos, building proposals, negotiating deals, and converting opportunities into long-term members. If you enjoy consultative selling and closing deals, this role gives you the autonomy to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run tailored product demos that speak directly to each customer’s needs 
  • Clearly communicate ChekkU’s value proposition (compliance, credibility, marketplace access) 
  • Build proposals, handle objections, and negotiate with confidence 
  • Close deals and ensure a smooth handover to onboarding 
  • Manage your pipeline in HubSpot with accurate forecasting 
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities 
  • Build strong relationships with trade business owners and decision-makers 
  • Represent ChekkU at events, trade shows, and networking opportunities 
  • Share market insights and customer feedback to help shape the product  

 

About You

 

You’re a confident communicator who knows how to build trust and close deals.

 

You’ll bring:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in B2B sales (SaaS, marketplace, or membership models ideal) 
  • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets 
  • Strong presentation and demo skills 
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline (HubSpot preferred) 
  • Excellent negotiation and objection-handling skills 

 

Bonus points if you have:

 

  • HubSpot experience
  • Experience in trades, construction, or field services 
  • Exposure to compliance or workforce solutions
