Contracts Administrator / Project Manager

CIRCL Group Pty Ltd – Chinderah, NSW

CIRCL Group is a growing construction and maintenance company delivering projects across NSW and QLD, including local government, insurance, and commercial works. We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator / Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering a major project in Byron Bay, along with supporting ongoing works.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently manage both contract administration and project coordination, working between our head office and active project sites.

Position Overview

The Contracts Administrator / Project Manager will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of projects, including subcontractor engagement, procurement, cost control, and coordination with site teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The role will be primarily based at our Chinderah office (Unit 9/18 Naru Street), with regular site attendance required to support project delivery and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, issue, and administer subcontract agreements
  • Procure and engage subcontractors in line with project programmes
  • Review and assess subcontractor claims, variations, and progress payments
  • Track project costs against budget and assist with financial forecasting
  • Identify, price, and manage variations in accordance with contract requirements
  • Coordinate with Site Supervisors to ensure efficient sequencing of works
  • Manage RFIs, contract correspondence, and client communications
  • Attend site regularly to support delivery and resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with contract documentation, Australian Standards, and company systems
  • Assist in maintaining project programmes and mitigating delays

About You

  • Proven experience in Contracts Administration within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple trades, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working on council or commercial projects (highly regarded)
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
