Position Overview:

As a Wax Puller at our Lost Wax Casting Processing Company, you will play a crucial role in the initial stages of the casting process. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously and skillfully remove wax patterns from moulds, ensuring the utmost precision and attention to detail. The successful execution of this task is critical to producing high-quality castings that meet our clients’ specifications and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Wax Pattern Removal: Carefully and delicately remove wax patterns from moulds, paying close attention to intricate details and avoiding any damage to the moulds themselves.

Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of wax patterns to identify any defects, imperfections, or deviations from design specifications, and make necessary adjustments or corrections.

Adherence to Standards: Follow established procedures, guidelines, and work instructions to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards throughout the wax pulling process.

Mould Cleaning: Assist in the cleaning and preparation of moulds for the next casting cycle, ensuring they are free from any remaining wax residue or debris.

Wax Recycling: Handle and manage the recycling of excess wax, ensuring it is properly collected, stored, and ready for reuse.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of wax pulling activities, including the number of patterns pulled, any defects detected, and the status of moulds.

Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the production team, including designers, mould-makers, and casting specialists, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.

Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and report any issues with wax pulling equipment, tools, or machinery to the supervisor for prompt resolution.

Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Wax Puller or in a related role within a casting or manufacturing environment.

Excellent eye for detail and ability to work with precision, especially when handling delicate wax patterns.

Familiarity with various wax pulling tools and equipment.

Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Adherence to safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive movements.

• Capable of lifting and moving moulds
