About the Role
We are seeking an experienced casual Offshore Subsea Technician to join our Subsea team. This role is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, testing and operation of subsea and associated plant equipment across onshore and offshore project environments. You will help ensure equipment is safe, compliant, reliable and ready for operational use, while supporting project delivery through strong technical capability, accurate reporting and a commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
What you’ll do
- Inspect, maintain, repair and test subsea and associated plant equipment in line with company procedures and competency requirements.
- Operate and maintain supplied equipment safely and efficiently at onshore and offshore project sites.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
- Ensure equipment is compliant, reliable and ready for operational use.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and equipment history.
- Requisition parts, tools and materials to support uninterrupted operations.
- Follow all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members and client representatives.
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
What you’ll bring
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining and repairing industrial, offshore or subsea equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and procedures.
- Experience in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Familiarity with offshore or heavy industrial equipment.
- Strong communication skills, including technical reporting.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary offshore teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
