We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the exceptional presentation and accommodation standards across the club.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to work within a premium private club environment whilst leading and supporting the housekeeping operation across both Cathedral-owned accommodation and private member residences managed through the club.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operation and ensure all accommodation and guest spaces are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and previous housekeeping supervisory experience within hotels, resorts, luxury accommodation or premium hospitality environments.
You will be responsible for coordinating housekeeping operations, conducting quality assurance checks, managing team rosters and ensuring a seamless and professional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and support the housekeeping team on a daily basis
• Conduct room inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure premium presentation standards are maintained
• Coordinate housekeeping rosters in line with occupancy levels and operational requirements
• Monitor accommodation occupancy and liaise with management regarding arrivals, departures and servicing requirements
• Coordinate linen ordering, stock control and laundry requirements
• Ensure Cathedral-owned accommodation and private member residences are maintained to exceptional standards
• Assist with onboarding, training and development of housekeeping team members
• Manage housekeeping supplies, inventory and operational organisation
• Report maintenance issues, damages or guest concerns promptly
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, cleaning procedures and operational standards
• Work collaboratively with hospitality, accommodation and management teams
• Lead by example with a hands-on and proactive approach
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
• Previous housekeeping supervisory experience within hotels, resorts or premium accommodation environments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation standards
• Experience with rostering, occupancy management and operational coordination
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Professionalism, discretion and a strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work weekends and peak operational periods where required
Experience within luxury accommodation, private clubs or high-end hospitality environments will be highly regarded.
