Calling all Support workers – Day / Afternoons and Overnights.
Locations: Multiple roles across Brisbane, Logan & Gold Coast
Position: Casual (up to 38 hours per week)
Carers Collective are looking for passionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide life-changing care for our participants across Queensland.
We have plenty of ongoing shifts across the Brisbane region (and some Gold Coast work) for Day/Afternoon, Active Overnights, Inactive sleepovers and the opportunity to choose from up to 20 available shifts per week on our job board.
Your Role and a Typical Shift with Carers Collective:
You’ll deliver tailored support in our participants’ homes, helping them live with independence and dignity—every shift is a chance to make a real difference!
Each day is unique, depending on the needs of our participants. Tasks may include:
- Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Preparing meals and supporting participants with nutrition needs.
- Providing light housekeeping, laundry, and other domestic assistance.
- Supporting participants to achieve their goals for independence and daily living.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to participants, engaging them in social and recreational activities
- Manual Handling
- Some behaviour supports (due to acquired injuries)
- Documenting care provided in line with company policies and industry standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, and NDIS Orientation Certificate
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services desirable
- Manual Handling skills (and no underlying conditions to limit manual handling)
- Skilled at developing strong interpersonal connections that create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
- First Aid/CPR
- A current driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
