We also deploy medical professionals and aircraft in support of defence, government and commercial contracts, and energy and resource sector sites.

The role

We are currently recruiting for experienced B1.1 PT6 LAME keen to explore potential opportunities in our Northern Operations working on our B200 King Air Fleet. Whilst we are seeking B1.1 engineers to maintain our B200 King Air Fleet, CareFlight offers a unique career opportunity to gain experience and potential type ratings on our Northern Operations G150 Jet and AW139 Rotary Wing fleet.

As a B1.1 PT6 LAME, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Maintaining CareFlight aircraft within the scope of licensing requirements and in accordance with the CareFlight Maintenance Control and Procedure Manuals.

• Ensuring that all matters pertaining to engineering duties are professionally completed including all correspondence such as emails and phone calls.

• Ensuring practical steps are taken to ensure safe practices in the workplace, identifying hazards and using the CareFlight Safety Reporting System.

Essential Criteria

• CASA B1.1 LAME License

• PWC PT6A-42 License (Assistance gaining PT6A-42 rating may be offered to appropriate candidate.

• Effective team player with the ability to work autonomously and take part in leadership / job co-ordination roles.

• Possess sound organisational and problem-solving abilities to provide workable solutions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills enabling you to work with staff and crew from all work groups and levels.

• Form part of a vibrant positive working culture with a professional service-orientated approach

• Be open to work a day shift pattern if applicable, enabling 24/7 operations.

Desirable Criteria

• AME’s nearing completion may be considered

• CASA B1.1 LAME license on Gulfstream G150 (TFE731)

• CASA B1.1 LAME license on Beech jet B400XP/XT (Williams FJ44)

• Previous experience on B200 King Air with PWC PT6A-42

• 1 Group 20 endorsement

• 1 Type rated airframe endorsement.
