Senior Support Worker

Position: Senior Support Worker

Duration: 6 weeks (Part-time 24 hours a week)

Location: St Ives

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership
• Client Care Planning
• Facilitate training sessions for support workers.
• Oversee the coordination of client care, including scheduling appointments, coordinating services from other providers, and monitoring progress towards goals.
• Conduct assessments of clients’ needs and regularly evaluate their progress to identify any changes or adjustments needed in their care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, care plans, and progress notes, and prepare reports as required.
• Provide support and guidance to clients and staff in crises, including de-escalating conflicts and accessing emergency services if necessary.

You must have:

• Aptitude for leadership or supervisory positions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
