We’re on the lookout for motivated individuals to join our brand-new site in Launceston as a Trainee Panel Beater or Spray Painter and support qualified tradespeople in the preparation, repair, and painting of vehicles.

About the role:

• Assist with basic disassembly and reassembly of vehicle parts
• Assist with vehicle preparation prior to painting
• Follow instructions from mentors and trainers
• Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean, organised, and ready for use
• Understand how to work safely in a workshop environment
• Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and initiative

About you:

In order to be successful you’ll need:

• A genuine interest in vehicles or the automotive repair industry
• A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
• Ability to follow process and instruction
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and safety-conscious, with an eye for detail
• Prior experience in hands-on roles (e.g. labouring, mechanics, assembly, manufacturing) will be highly regarded
• Permanent Resident or appropriate Australian working rights.
