Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities:

– Operate and maintain a commercial truck in a safe and efficient manner

– Transport goods and materials to different locations

– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment

– Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations

– Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups

– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members

– Perform routine maintenance on the truck and report any issues to management

– Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)

– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver

– Clean driving record

– Ability to operate and maintain a commercial truck

– Strong communication skills

– Ability to work independently or as part of a team

– Attention to detail

– Physical ability to load/unload cargo
