Drive strong healthcare partnerships that improve cancer care access for our patients.

Cancer Care Associates (CCA) is an Australian-owned and operated oncology services provider, dedicated to delivering affordable, integrated cancer care to both metropolitan and regional communities. With a commitment to evidence-based treatment and a multidisciplinary team approach, CCA stands at the forefront of private oncology in Australia where the patient always comes first. We provide specialist cancer care services that prioritise exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experience.

As a Client Engagement Partner, you’ll be the vital link between our doctors and the wider healthcare community building trusted relationships with GPs, specialists, and public health stakeholders to ensure seamless patient referral pathways. Working primarily on the road, this role involves visiting healthcare providers primarily for our Sunshine Coast (Buderim) and Taringa centres, to ensure effective communication, engagement, and collaboration for patient referrals. You will be the face of CCA, fostering trust and promoting our services to maximise patient care outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, specialists, and clinic staff, primarily for our Sunshine Coast (Buderim) and Taringa centres.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for referrers, addressing inquiries and facilitating clear communication with CCA doctors and staff.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and referral pathways with new and existing referrers.
  • Conduct regular clinic visits, deliver updated collateral, and promote CCA’s services.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives tailored to specific tumour streams.
  • Actively connect and introduce CCA doctors to relevant multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) to encourage collaboration and strengthen referral pathways.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with referrers and our CCA doctors to discuss services, patient pathways, and assist in the planning and execution of forums, events, and dinners targeted at referrers.
  • Regularly track and report on engagement activities, including clinic visits, meetings, and event outcomes through the CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates to management, highlighting trends, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience in a healthcare or referrer engagement role, preferably in oncology or a similar field.
  • Background in customer-facing roles, with demonstrated success in relationship management.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritise effectively while on the road.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work around competing deadlines and workloads.
  • Strategic thinker with the aptitude to identify opportunities and create actionable plans.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Collaborative team player who shares information and assists colleagues to achieve team goals and outcomes.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in healthcare relationship management, account management, or business development, ideally in oncology or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and work autonomously on the road.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to convert opportunities into results.

What We Offer:

  • 5 weeks annual leave pro-rata for all new starters prior to 1 January.
  • Access to professional development programs, supporting career growth – including town halls, monthly lunch & learn sessions, and all-company Conference.
  • Collaborate with friendly teams, focused on delivering top-quality care for patients and one another.
  • Growing list of initiatives – currently including Quarterly Recognition Awards and Employee Referral Bonuses.
  • 24/7 Access to Employee Assistance Program.
