We are looking for an energetic and motivating Aqua Aerobics Instructor to join our team at Stellar.

The role centres on delivering fun, safe and effective water-based fitness classes to participants of all ages and fitness levels. You’ll bring enthusiasm, strong class management skills, and a genuine passion for helping people stay active and healthy in the water.

As an Aqua Aerobics Instructor, you will lead group fitness classes such as Aqua Aerobics and/or Aqua Zumba, designing and delivering sessions that are engaging, inclusive and appropriately challenging. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe class environment, motivating participants throughout the session, and creating a positive, high-energy atmosphere in the pool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver structured Aqua Aerobics and/or Aqua Zumba classes that are safe, inclusive and engaging for all fitness levels.
  • Motivate and encourage participants throughout each session to help them get the most out of their workout.
  • Maintain a safe class environment, including monitoring participants and the pool space at all times.
  • Adapt exercises and class format to suit different abilities, ages and fitness goals.
  • Build rapport with regular participants and help grow class attendance and engagement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Aqua Aerobics and/or Aqua Zumba Instructor qualification.
  • Current accreditation with FITREC or AUS Active.
  • Current CPR certification and First Aid certification.
  • A fun, confident and motivating teaching style, with the ability to energise a class.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse range of participants.
  • Availability to work weekday lunch times and evenings.

Instructors who hold additional fitness accreditations may also have the opportunity to pick up extra work within our Group Ex team.
