About the Role
As a Manager, you’ll take ownership of a client portfolio while supporting and developing your team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns (companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals)
- Assist and engage in special projects, where your innovative thinking and initiative will shine (succession planning, tax planning etc.)
- Providing tax compliance and advisory services
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working closely with Directors on client strategy and growth
- Overseeing workflow, deadlines, and team performance
- Mentoring and developing junior accountants
- Liaise with clients and the ATO on compliance and advisory matters
- Manage GST reconciliations and BAS lodgements
About You
We’re specifically seeking professionals with strong Australian public practice experience who can confidently step into a leadership role.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in Australian tax and business advisory (essential)
- Minimum 4–5+ years in public practice / accounting firm environment
- CA/CPA/CTA qualified or in progress
- Strong technical skills across tax compliance and financial reporting
- Confident client-facing and communication skills
- Leadership capability or readiness to step into a manager role
- A willingness to relocate or be based in regional WA
- Experience or interest in agribusiness is highly regarded (particularly for Narrogin).
