Summary:

As a Duty Manager at World Square Bar, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospitality services. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our establishment in the vibrant Sydney CBD. You will lead a dedicated team, manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, all while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Manage staff schedules, training, and performance to maintain a motivated and efficient team.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as licensing laws.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner to enhance guest experience.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of promotional activities and events.
  • Prepare reports on sales, staff performance, and customer feedback for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of bar operations and customer service principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic financial acumen and experience with budgeting and inventory management.
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field are preferred.
