About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Superintendent will lead the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of processing operations at Honeymoon. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will lead operating crews, optimise plant performance and ensure production plans are delivered in line with operational, safety and cost targets.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within a growing uranium producer, where you will take ownership of a critical operational area and play a direct role in building performance, discipline and continuous improvement across the plant.

You will help maintain steady state operations, support compliance with health, safety, environmental and radiation requirements, and develop a capable, accountable and high-performing operations team.

This role is offered as a full time 8:6 FIFO opportunity from Adelaide

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead processing operations to deliver safe, reliable and efficient plant performance in line with production and cost targets
  • Drive production performance against operational, cost and safety targets.
  • Own and improve key operating safety systems, including Permits to Work, SWIs and procedures.
  • Monitor plant performance, analyse process conditions and direct operational adjustments.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across safety, productivity, system performance and cost efficiency.
  • Build a capable, accountable and high-performing production team through coaching and visible leadership.
  • Manage risks, controls, corrective actions, resources, budgets and operational reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company, statutory, environmental and radiation management requirements.
  • Provide RMM coverage when required, ensuring continuity of leadership, operational decision-making and site support.

 

About You

  • Significant leadership experience in mining, mineral processing or a similar operational environment.
  • A strong track record of leading safe, high-performing teams and delivering operational results.
  • Technical capability in plant operations, process optimisation, budgeting and performance reporting.
  • Well-developed leadership, communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.
  • Experience in uranium processing, ISR mining or hydrometallurgical operations will be highly regarded.
  • Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience, with a minimum Certificate IV in Process Operations.
  • Ability to travel to site and successfully complete relevant pre-employment checks (including Medical & National Police Check) .
