Description

If you want your work to fit around school drop-off, your own private practice or whatever else matters to you, this is a subcontracting role for a speech pathologist in Perth that’s built for that.

You work on your own ABN, with the clients you choose, in the weeks and hours that suit you. We look after the parts of private practice that wear people down, so your time goes to your clients and your life outside work.

What you earn

You keep 67% to 75% of everything you bill, inclusive of super, on a tiered rate that rises as your caseload grows. We carry the funding risk, so late payments and bad debts are ours to deal with, not yours.

Your autonomy

  • Work wherever suits you across Perth
  • Build the caseload you want: adult, paediatric or mixed, across NDIS and Support at Home
  • Set your own availability, including school terms and school holidays
  • Referrals are offered to you, never assigned. Take the ones that fit and pass on the rest

What we look after

  • Finding clients, through our marketing and referral partner relationships
  • Invoicing and following up payments, so you never have to chase an account
  • Service agreements, systems and reporting
  • Joey AI, our own custom-built tool that cuts down the documentation and admin that usually eats into your evenings

You’re responsible for the quality of your clinical work, as any independent clinician is. We back you with a clinical governance framework and systems, and we’re a registered NDIS provider.

Who this suits

  • You’re a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia
  • You’re confident making your own clinical decisions
  • You have an ABN and professional indemnity insurance, or are ready to set them up
  • You hold a WWC and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or are happy to get them

Who it might not suit

If you’d rather have a salary, paid leave and a set roster, that’s a completely reasonable choice, and this probably isn’t the right fit. This role is for people who want their work to fit around their life, not the other way round.
