Description

About BixeLab

BixeLab is a globally recognised biometric and identity assurance laboratory, accredited by NVLAP (Lab Code 600301-0), FIDO, and MOSIP, and one of only three NIST-recognised biometric testing labs worldwide.

We provide independent testing, evaluation, and consultancy across biometric performance, presentation attack detection (PAD), and digital identity frameworks — helping governments and industry build trust in the systems that verify who we are.

The Opportunity

We’re expanding our consulting team and looking for a motivated Associate Consultant / Project Manager to join us in Canberra.

This role suits professionals with strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills who are ready to contribute to technical projects in biometric assurance, identity frameworks, and digital trust technologies.

You’ll work closely with senior consultants and technical specialists to deliver projects, lead defined workstreams, and coordinate key internal processes that support our lab’s growing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate, coordinate, and lead communications between clients, stakeholders, and internal staff.

Critically review company-wide client and internal documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.

Prepare clear, high-quality reports, presentations, and client deliverables.

Apply and continuously develop knowledge of biometric testing, digital identity, and AI assurance frameworks.

Manage small client projects or defined workstreams within larger engagements.

Develop findings and recommendations for clients and present outcomes to stakeholders.

Collaborate with and learn from senior consultants while mentoring junior colleagues.

Functional lead areas may include:

Recruitment Lead: Oversee and coordinate the recruitment and test-crew management process, liaise with recruiters, and handle related administration.

Training Lead: Coordinate the development and delivery of training programs, including client communications, content creation, and facilitation.

Project Coordinator: Support and streamline internal processes, assist with drafting and maintaining SOPs, policies, and documentation that underpin project delivery.

About You

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
