What We Need from You:
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and 3+ years of clinical experience (preferably in primary healthcare or chronic disease management).
- Nurse Immuniser certified, compliant with Queensland legislation
- Hands-on clinical skills: Comfortable with ECGs, wound care, pathology collections, venepuncture, and vaccinations.
- A passion for improving health outcomes through preventative health initiatives, with an interest in areas such as Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD), sexual health, cancer screening and chronic disease management to reduce disease within the community.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practices, ensuring culturally safe care.
- Strong Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively with your team and the community, working in a collaborative environment.
