We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with strong technical design capability and a passion for building structures. What You’ll Do 

✅ Design reinforced concrete and structural steel building structures 

✅ Perform structural analysis and modelling using industry-standard software 

✅ Undertake lateral stability analysis and design for wind and seismic loading 

✅ Design reinforced and post-tensioned concrete floor systems 

✅ Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and structural design documentation 

✅ Coordinate with architects, drafters, and multidisciplinary engineering teams 

✅ Support project delivery from concept design through detailed design and construction documentation 

✅ Contribute to practical, efficient, and buildable engineering solutions 

✅ Mentor and support junior engineers where appropriate 

Essential Criteria 

1. Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university 
• PRC Civil Engineer License 

2. Experience 

• 5 to 10 years of structural engineering experience 
• Experience in reinforced concrete and/or structural steel building design 
• Experience working on multi-storey building projects 
• Experience undertaking structural analysis and design using industry-standard software 

3. Technical Skills 

• Proficiency in ETABS (minimum 3 years). 
• Proficiency in at least one of the following:  
• SAFE (minimum 3 years) 
• RAPT (minimum 1 years) 
• RAM Concept (minimum 1 years) 
• Understanding of structural load paths and lateral stability systems 
• Ability to prepare engineering calculations and technical reports 
• Ability to prepare and coordinate structural design documentation 

4. Communication 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams

Preferred Criteria

1. Buildings Design Experience 

• Experience in post-tensioned slab design 
• Experience in foundation and retaining wall design 
• Experience in structural assessments, retrofit, and strengthening projects 
• Experience with medium-rise and high-rise building structures 

2. Australian & International Project Experience 

• Familiarity with Australian and International Standards and design practices 
• Experience working on Australian projects 
• Experience working within an international engineering consultancy 

3. Software Experience 

• SpaceGass 
• Strand7 
• Revit Structure 

4. Design Delivery 

• Experience preparing:  
• Structural design reports 
• Engineering calculations 
• Technical specifications 
• Construction documentation 
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver structural design packages with minimal supervision 

5. Construction Engineering (Advantageous) 

• Temporary works design 
• Construction-stage engineering 
• Construction methodology assessments 
• Construction load assessments and staged construction analysis 

6. Professional Development 

• Experience mentoring or guiding graduate and junior engineers

Work Arrangement 

🌏 FT in the office for the first few months
