We are looking for a Graduate or Structural Engineer who is passionate about building design and eager to develop their technical skills in a professional consulting environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structural analysis, modelling, design, and documentation while working alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of projects.
You will receive mentoring and technical guidance while contributing to commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
What You’ll Do
✅ Assist in the structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and structural steel building structures
✅ Develop and review structural models using industry-standard software
✅ Support lateral stability analysis and design for wind and seismic loading
✅ Assist in the design of reinforced and post-tensioned concrete floor systems
✅ Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation
✅ Coordinate with engineers, drafters, architects, and other disciplines
✅ Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
✅ Develop practical engineering solutions under the guidance of senior engineers
✅ Continuously build knowledge of structural engineering principles, software, and design standards
Essential Criteria
1. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent from a recognised university.
- PRC Civil Engineer License.
2.Experience
- Graduate Engineer or up to 2 years of structural engineering experience.
- Strong interest in structural engineering and building design.
- Exposure to reinforced concrete and/or structural steel design through university or professional experience.
3.Technical Skills
- Understanding of structural engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with structural analysis and design principles.
- Exposure to ETABS or similar structural analysis software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to learn industry-standard software and engineering practices.
4.Communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Criteria
1.Buildings Design Experience
- Experience or academic exposure to multi-storey building design.
- Exposure to reinforced concrete floor systems.
- Exposure to structural steel design.

- Revit Structure
3.Australian and International Project Experience
- Familiarity with Australian Standards through academic studies, internships, or professional experience.
- Experience working within a consulting engineering environment.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Desire to develop the capability to independently undertake structural design and documentation work to Australian / International Standards.
