Description

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide assistance and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Experience providing support to clients with complex challenging behaviours and a sound understanding of adhering to PBS plans will be advantageous.

Responsibilities may include:

Provide support to individuals in need
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Accompany individuals to appointments and activities
Maintain accurate records of services provided
Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
Monitor and report any changes in an individual’s condition
Provide a safe and comfortable environment for individuals

Qualifications and attributes:

Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
Basic computer skills
Valid NSW driver’s license and reliable transportation
All mandatory NDIS checks
