About the Role

As a R&D Tax Consultant, you will:

• Assist with the preparation and lodgement of R&D Tax Incentive applications.
• Assess eligibility and identify eligible R&D activities and expenditure.
• Analyse technical, scientific and financial information and prepare supporting documentation.
• Support clients through reviews, audits and compliance processes.
• Build strong client relationships and understand their business and innovation activities.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, workpapers and client records.
• Research government funding opportunities and stay informed of R&D program changes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to process and quality improvements.

About you

You’ll be a good fit for the R&D Tax Consultant role if you have:

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Science, Engineering, Technology, Medical or Health-related disciplines.
• 0-3 years’ experience in professional services, consulting, research, tax, grants or a related field.
• Interest in business, law and/or finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, motivated and eager to learn.
• Collaborative and able to build positive client and colleague relationships.
