THE OPPORTUNITY 

 

With continued expansion of Beneco’s presence in Western Australia, we are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Rehabilitation Lead with genuine roots in the WA rehabilitation industry, existing relationships to leverage, and the commercial and clinical instincts to continue to grow a function from a strong foundation. 

As Rehabilitation Leader, you will lead a team of Rehabilitation Consultants operating across occupational rehabilitation and workplace rehabilitation streams, including Workers Compensation, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Compulsory Third Party (CTP). 

This is a unique opportunity to act as both a leader and a practitioner; setting the standard through your own work while actively developing the people around you. You will own processes, drive performance conversations, and act as a key connector between your team and Beneco’s national leadership. 

 

Key focus areas include: 

  • Leading and coaching a team of Rehab Consultants through setting clear expectations, holding the standard, and developing your people through regular contact, daily huddles, and structured performance reviews. 
  • Supporting the clinical and professional standards of your team through effective caseload management 
  • Driving customer engagement by generating referrals across Workers Compensation, WHS and CTP. 
  • Owning quality and compliance across your team – ensuring SLA adherence, report quality, case review processes, and timely documentation. 
  • Continuing the growth of Beneco’s WA function through leveraging your industry knowledge and existing networks to build Beneco’s profile and referral pipeline in the WA market. 
  • Supporting the Service Lead with strategic priorities and reporting and contributing meaningfully to Beneco’s broader service delivery objectives.

Working Arrangements: Remote initially with view to establishment of an office space

Direct Reports:  Rehab Consultants and 1 Lead Consultant  

Salary:  Competitive; commensurate with experience

THE PERSON 

 

We are looking for a Senior Rehabilitation professional with demonstrated depth of experience in Occupational Rehab. The right candidate for this role will bring clinical credibility, commercial awareness, and genuine people leadership capability, with deep networks in the WA rehabilitation industry. 

 

Experience 

  • Substantial experience in occupational rehabilitation, encompassing a depth of knowledge across Workers Compensation and allied scheme frameworks in Western Australia. 
  • Strong account management capability. The confidence to build & sustain referrer relationships, identifying business development opportunities, and coaching your team to do the same. 
  • Existing networks within the WA rehabilitation, injury management, or insurance landscape. 
  • Experience owning and driving operational processes, and a willingness to exercise initiative and self-direction.  
  • A clinical background with the ability to demonstrate operational excellence while driving team performance 

Formal Qualifications 

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health or rehabilitation discipline (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Exercise Physiology, or Psychology). 
  • Current professional registration or accreditation relevant to your discipline (AHPRA, ASORC, or ESSA). 
  • A current, full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

You will be reporting into one of Beneco’s Service Leads, an Occupational Rehab leader with impressive experience & tenure both in the industry and with the organisation. 

With a cross-functional structure, you will be afforded the opportunity to collaborate and work closely with other Leaders across Beneco, as well as a broader team of passionate, knowledgeable, and outcomes focused Rehab professionals.
