About the Role
As a Sawmill Operator, you’ll play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of advanced sawmilling equipment and production systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring modern sawmilling equipment (installed 2026)
- Using computerised controls and production monitoring systems
- Monitoring machine performance, timber flow and product quality
- Identifying faults, abnormalities and potential equipment issues
- Supporting basic troubleshooting and working closely with the Engineering team
- Completing pre-start checks and reporting equipment defects
- Responding quickly and safely to production interruptions
- Contributing ideas to improve safety, quality, uptime and efficiency
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Working as part of a reliable, safety-focused production team

About You
You will bring:
