Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated B1 or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our Part 145 Maintenance facility in Cairns. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our fleet to ensure the highest standards of airworthiness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance on our Beech 200, Cessna 208B and Cessna 441 aircraft as well as providing aircraft engineering services to external customers when required.
● Perform scheduled inspections, troubleshoot, and rectify defects.
● Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company procedures and standards.
● Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities IAW with the Airlink Engineering Part 145 AMOE.
● Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround times.
● Provide on-the-job training and support to junior engineers and apprentices.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Valid CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 Licence with preference given to those with relevant type ratings and/or experience on Beech 200, Cessna 208B, Cessna 400 Series aircraft.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
● Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance practices.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Desirable
● B200 King Air experience
● C208 Caravan experience
● P&WC PT6A experience and ratings
● Honeywell TPE331 experience and ratings
● B1.2 Piston engine experience and ratings
● Holder of an Airside Drivers Licence (Cairns)
● Current ASIC
● Current Australian Drivers licence
