Aurenne Group Mining is a privately owned, family-run gold miner operating at Mt Ida, 80 km from Menzies in WA’s Goldfields.

We’re growing our exploration program and looking for a hands-on Exploration Geologist who wants more than sitting behind a desk.

You’ll be out in the field working across a large Diamond and RC drilling program, getting involved in everything from drill planning and supervision through to logging, sampling, QA/QC and geological interpretation.

What you’ll be doing

• Geological fieldwork, mapping, sampling and drill planning
• Diamond and RC drill supervision
• Core and RC logging and sampling
• QA/QC and geological data management
• Geological interpretation and target generation
• Working closely with drilling and mining teams
• Field logistics, equipment and consumables
• Supporting a strong safety culture on site

What we’re looking for

• BSc Geology or equivalent
• 2+ years’ Exploration Geology experience
• Gold exploration experience desirable
• WA C Class Driver’s manual Licence
• Experience with geological software such as ArcGIS, Acquire or Leapfrog ideally
• Strong understanding of drilling, sampling and QA/QC
• Practical, switched-on approach to problem solving
• Full Australian working rights
• Current National Police Clearance
