Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team in Bundoora, Victoria. This permanent, full-time role is essential for providing high-quality speech pathology services to our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide therapy and support to patients and their families, ensuring effective communication strategies are in place.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders across various age groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
