About the Role
Attach2 is a leading manufacturer of excavator attachments based in Masterton. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Production Allrounder who will support critical areas of production, including model spec, painting, welding assist, dispatch assist and rework when required, while also helping with special tasks like dismantling our old paint booth when needed.
This is a full-time, hands-on role where adaptability, teamwork, and attitude matter just as much as technical ability. If you like variety and being the go-to person who gets things done, this role is for you.

Primary Responsibilities (Model Spec & Process Support):
- Assist with model spec assembly work, fitting customer-specific requirements
- Support small welding and rework tasks
- Read and follow job spec drawings accurately (training provided)
- Own quality and accuracy so products meet standard the first time
Other Key Responsibilities:
1. Painting Support
- Prep and hang parts for painting
- Assist with applying paint and finishing tasks when required
- Maintain paint area cleanliness and help meet quality targets
2. Special Projects
- Support operational improvement projects and business initiatives as required.
3. General Support Across Teams
- Provide support across fabrication, dispatch and production areas to maintain workflow and productivity.
- Ensure jobs move through without delays—urgency is key
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic mechanical and welding skills (painting experience is a bonus)
- A practical, hands-on problem solver with flexibility to move where needed
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality
- Physically fit and comfortable handling steel products (up to ~25kg)
- A team player with a can-do attitude who owns their work and raises issues early
- Adjusts quickly to changes without negativity
- Strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn new skills
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Forklift license
- Prior experience in painting, dispatch, or assembly roles
