The Role
Outbound sales role focused on cold calling and lead generation for ATOM Modular’s range of modular buildings, remote accommodation, and complete site compound solutions for mining, infrastructure, agriculture, and renewables projects.
Your job is to build awareness, open doors, and fill the pipeline. You’ll be on the phone and email daily, reaching out to project managers, procurement teams, and site decision-makers who don’t yet know what we do.
Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation
- Have 25+ meaningful conversations per day with targeted prospects across mining, infrastructure, agriculture, and renewables sectors
- Identify and qualify decision-makers at Tier 1–3 contractors, mining operators, and project owners
- Book discovery calls and product demonstrations for the sales team
- Research target accounts and identify key contacts across Australia and PNG
Pipeline Management
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities in our CRM
- Follow up on inbound enquiries and trade show leads
- Track activity metrics and report on pipeline progress weekly
Market Intelligence
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activity and customer pain points
- Contribute insights that sharpen our targeting and messaging
Requirements
Essential:
- Confidence on the phone—you’re not fazed by gatekeepers or “not interested”
- Persistence without being pushy—you follow up consistently and professionally
- Clear, direct communication—no waffle, no jargon
- Strong organisation skills—you can manage a high volume of contacts and follow-ups
- Coachability—you take feedback and apply it
- Australian work rights
Desirable:
- Experience in B2B cold calling, telemarketing, or inside sales
- Familiarity with mining, resources, agriculture, or construction sectors
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM
- Understanding of modular buildings, remote site logistics, or temporary site compounds
