What you’ll be doing

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Measure, cut and assemble timber components to construct structures such as walls, floors, roofs and staircases
  • Install and repair cabinets, shelving, doors, windows and other fixtures
  • Ideally bring plastering skills to support finishing works
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with other trades such as electricians and plumbers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety standards

About You

  • Qualified Carpenter with 3–5+ years of hands-on experience, ideally within commercial construction
  • Strong ability to read plans and deliver accurate carpentry work
  • Confidence using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • A practical problem-solver who can work through site challenges
  • A team player who communicates well with other trades and supervisors
  • Commitment to maintaining safe and organised work environments
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
