Hampton Park Dental is looking for a Practice Manager to lead our team, working full-time over 4 or 5 days per week.
Start date: Asap
About the role:
- Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner.
- Managing the appointment schedule for up to 5 chairs efficiently.
- Handling patient inquiries via phone, email or in person.
- Co-ordinating patient check-in and check-outs, processing payments with HICAPS, Eftpos, Cash and PRODA.
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring they are up to date and accurate.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate maintenance, stock control, and supplier relationships
- Handling administration tasks and managing reception area.
- Provide support to staff and staff scheduling.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Experience in all front office duties including but not limited to; making appointments, accounts, patient liaison, emails, scanning, word processing etc.
- Experience with D4W software would be beneficial (however training can be provided)
- Previous experience as a Dental assistant is preferred
- Provide top quality patient care
- Display high attention to detail
- Always maintain patient and practice confidentiality
- An outstanding knowledge and understanding of infection control
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Be a team player, well presented and take pride in your work
- Excellent communication and people skills with attention to detail
