Description

Hampton Park Dental is looking for a Practice Manager to lead our team, working full-time over 4 or 5 days per week.

Start date: Asap

About the role:

  • Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner.
  • Managing the appointment schedule for up to 5 chairs efficiently.
  • Handling patient inquiries via phone, email or in person.
  • Co-ordinating patient check-in and check-outs, processing payments with HICAPS, Eftpos, Cash and PRODA.
  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring they are up to date and accurate.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate maintenance, stock control, and supplier relationships
  • Handling administration tasks and managing reception area.
  • Provide support to staff and staff scheduling.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Experience in all front office duties including but not limited to; making appointments, accounts, patient liaison, emails, scanning, word processing etc.
  • Experience with D4W software would be beneficial (however training can be provided)
  • Previous experience as a Dental assistant is preferred
  • Provide top quality patient care
  • Display high attention to detail
  • Always maintain patient and practice confidentiality
  • An outstanding knowledge and understanding of infection control
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
  • Be a team player, well presented and take pride in your work
  • Excellent communication and people skills with attention to detail
  • Willingness to take direction, learn new skills and techniques and contribute back to the team
