What you’ll do
As Lead Product Designer, you’ll own the design of core product workflows and experiences across the Arlo platform. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to design experiences that are simple, fast, and commercially effective, helping customers discover value faster and get more from the platform.
This isn’t a traditional design role focused on static mockups. You’ll move quickly, experiment with modern tools, and work closely across product and engineering to turn ideas into real product experiences. This is an exciting role with real ownership and the opportunity to shape how the product evolves.
You’ll be responsible for
Designing intuitive workflows and modern responsive interfaces across the Arlo platform
Creating scalable, reusable UI components and patterns that support a consistent product experience
Collaborating with product and engineering teams to bring designs into production through component-based architecture
Rapidly prototyping ideas using tools like Figma, Lovable, v0, Replit, Cursor, or similar
Designing AI-powered workflows, assistants, and automation experiences
Crafting clear, effective product copy that improves usability and feature adoption
Applying behavioural psychology and product thinking to guide user actions and outcomes
Maintaining and evolving Arlo’s design system and interaction patterns
Using prototypes, experiments, and product data to validate design decisions and improve UX continuously

5+ years designing SaaS products, ideally complex B2B platforms
Experience working with design systems and component-based UI patterns
Comfortable collaborating closely with engineers and understanding how modern interfaces are built
Strong background in user-centred design, including research, usability testing, prototyping, and experimentation
A portfolio demonstrating shipped products and clear design thinking
Skills
Advanced proficiency in Figma
Experience with modern prototyping tools such as Lovable, v0, Replit, Cursor, or Framer
Understanding of behavioural psychology and product adoption
Strong UX writing and product communication skills
Familiarity with design tokens, component-driven frontend development, or translating design systems into production
Capabilities
Thrives in a fast-moving scale-up environment
Takes ownership and moves quickly from idea to shipped product
Curious about AI-powered tools and emerging product interaction models
Collaborative, pragmatic, and focused on delivering real customer value
