Description

As the Digital Content Producer (Fundraising), you help create and maintain AIA’s email, website content and paid media. You support the planning, production and quality-checking of digital marketing content, applying good copywriting, design and layout skills. You follow agreed testing and SEO practices, contribute to performance reporting, and work with the Digital Marketing specialists to keep AIA’s digital marketing content engaging, effective and supporter-focused.

KEY DUTIES

  • Supports the maintenance and development of AIA’s digital content for email, website and paid media
  • Contributes to planning, monitoring and reporting on email, ad and website performance
  • Prepares and quality-checks copywriting and image design
  • Supports delivery of the Audience and Fundraising Strategy, including adapting global content for local audiences
  • Applies basic SEO practices, collaborates on content testing, and supports colleagues with training
  • Contributes to empowering, respectful and sensitive content, in collaboration with rights holders and senior colleagues
  • Assists with online moderation and community management, with the wider Digital Marketing team
  • Other tasks within your skills and competence as required.

QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in digital marketing and content production (email, website and/ or paid media)
  • Demonstrated experience producing engaging content across a range of platforms and formats
  • Track record in content and website performance analysis and reporting skills
  • High standard of organisation and attention to detail.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience working with email campaign platforms (Campaign Monitor an advantage), CMS (WordPress an advantage) and CRMs (Blackbaud CRM an advantage)
  • Fundraising communications expertise
  • Familiarity with human rights issues and social change methods and tactics, including experience of mass mobilisation, activism and organising techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with rights holders.

SKILLS

  • Clear, engaging writer with a good eye for detail
  • Comfortable working across email and website platforms
  • Creative production skills
  • Organised, with good time-management skills
  • Collaborative team player, responding openly to feedback and adjusting to people from different backgrounds.
