About Us

Allegiance Heart & Home Care is an aged care provider supporting older Australians to live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes.

We believe good care is more than completing tasks. It is about building trust, providing consistent support and helping each participant maintain their independence, confidence and connection with the community.

Our team works closely with participants, families and health professionals to provide personalised care that reflects each person’s needs, preferences and goals.

About the Role

This is an ongoing community-based role supporting one participant with a combination of personal care, social and emotional support, community access and domestic assistance.

The participant would benefit from someone who is calm, patient, attentive and genuinely enjoys spending time with older people.

You may support with personal care and daily routines, provide companionship and reassurance, accompany the participant on walks or community activities, and assist with light household duties such as vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas, laundry and general tidying.

The role also involves observing and reporting any changes in the participant’s wellbeing, following the care plan and completing accurate progress notes after each shift.

We’re Looking for Someone Who

Is warm, respectful and dependable, with a genuine interest in supporting older people to remain independent at home.

Experience in aged care, dementia support, personal care or community support will be highly regarded.

You will also need appropriate aged care or community services qualifications, current Police Check, First Aid and CPR, relevant worker screening, Australian working rights and reliable transport.

Why Join Allegiance Heart & Home Care?

You will be joining a supportive and growing organisation where continuity of care matters. We aim to match participants with workers who can build positive, consistent relationships rather than simply filling shifts.

You will receive clear care information, ongoing support from the care team and opportunities for regular shifts as our services continue to grow.
