About the opportunity

As our Senior Contracts Administrator, you’ll oversee contract administration across the full lifecycle of major renewable energy projects.

You’ll be a trusted partner to our project, commercial and finance teams, keeping them a step ahead on variations, claims, notices and key dates so they can focus on delivery.

Day to day you will;

  • Lead, guide and develop a small team of Contracts Administrators, setting clear standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Set every project up for success, managing contract set-up across our contract management and finance systems.
  • Administer head contracts and subcontracts through delivery, staying across variations, extensions of time, notices and contractual correspondence.
  • Support progress claims and payment schedules in line with contract terms and security of payment legislation.
  • Manage bank guarantees, surety bonds and security deposits with banks, insurers and clients, from issue through to release.
  • Keep project and commercial teams ahead of the curve on key dates, notice periods, security expiries and reporting obligations.
  • Share your expertise with other contracts administrators, helping raise the standard of process and quality across the team.

 What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience in a senior contracts administration role, ideally gained within a tier 1 environment.
  • A background in renewables, civil, infrastructure, building or a related construction sector.
  • Experience administering contracts on major projects, ideally valued over $100m.
  • A collaborative approach to supporting project, commercial and finance teams through delivery.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple contracts.
  • A willingness to share your knowledge and guide others on process and quality.

Why join the OCU Group

  • Be part of something bigger – join an international group operating across the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Build your career – access greater opportunities for learning, development and progression as the Group continues to grow.
  • Work on industry-leading projects – contribute to some of Australia and New Zealand’s largest renewable energy and power infrastructure projects.
