All Energy Contracting NZ (AECNZ) specialise in cable installation, trenching, laying, backfilling, civils & HV connections in the Renewable Energy Sector.

Based out of Rolleston we have the support & know how to deliver successful projects anywhere in New Zealand.

We have a Solar Farm project located in Lauriston and are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking Labourers to join our team, in exchange we offer a competitive rate of pay, supportive working environment and new equipment.

The scope of civil works on this project requires attention to detail around fixed assets.

Rates are standard across all new starters and there is scope for growth for the right candidates once integrated with our team.

Summary:

As a Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks across the project. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable, and possess a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and cleanup of work areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.

• Perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment.

• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.

• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, including proper disposal of waste materials.

• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

• Assist in the loading and unloading of goods or materials as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Full working rights in New Zealand

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery operation.

• Ability to adapt to different work environments and industries.

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
