About the Role

We are currently seeking passionate and empathetic Disability Support Workers to provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client located in Woongarrah:

• Personal Care
• Meal preparation
• Transport
• Community Access
• Medication
• Shifts – 3-5 hour shifts AM and PM

Young client located in Kanwal:

• Tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Ventilation Management
• Stoma Care
• PEG Care
• Communication support (AUSLAN)
• Social Support
• Personal Care
• Shifts: 9am – 3pm weekdays

Ideal Candidate

• Must have experience with Complex Care or willing to learn
• Experience in education, teaching, childcare or homeschooling environment advantageous
• Existing Auslan skills or willingness to learn
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
• A commitment to safe work practices and manual handling.
• NSW Driver License and access to reliable vehicle
