Description

Be the face of the Club and help bring our new home to life.

As our Front of House & Venue Coordinator, you’ll be one of the first people our visitors, members, partners and community meet when they walk through the doors.

This is more than a traditional reception role. You’ll be right at the heart of the Club, welcoming visitors, running venue tours and helping keep everything across the facility running smoothly, from events and deliveries to access and building operations.

About the role

No two days at a football club are quite the same.

One moment you could be welcoming a partner or community group, the next hosting a Heritage Museum tour, coordinating a delivery or helping get the venue ready for an event.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the experience people have when they visit the Adelaide Football Club.

You won’t just be sitting behind a reception desk. You’ll be part host, part coordinator and part problem solver, helping ensure our new home feels welcoming, professional and unmistakably Crows from the moment people walk through the door.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Being the first point of contact for visitors, members, partners and suppliers
  • Creating a warm and professional experience across our reception and public areas
  • Coordinating and hosting venue and Heritage Museum tours for members, partners, schools, community groups and corporate visitors
  • Managing visitor and contractor sign-in, access cards, temporary passes and related processes
  • Coordinating incoming calls, enquiries, mail, couriers and deliveries
  • Supporting the smooth operation of building, access and security systems
  • Helping coordinate event-day requirements including accreditation, contractors, parking permits, fleet keys and briefing information
  • Maintaining operational registers, records and monthly reporting
  • Supporting the presentation of our Heritage Museum, exhibitions and activation’s
  • Playing an important role in safety and emergency procedures as a Location Warden.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating a great experience.

You’ll be someone who is warm, organised and proactive, and comfortable being the person others turn to when they need help.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in reception, front of house, hospitality, customer service or visitor experience
  • A friendly and confident communication style
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Great attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership
  • Sound judgement, particularly when it comes to access, security and safety
  • Confidence learning new systems and technology
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to jump in where needed
  • Flexibility to work occasional match days, events and outside normal office hours.

Experience in building, visitor management, access or security systems would be useful, but it’s not essential if you’re comfortable learning new technology. A qualification in Business Administration, Sports Management, Tourism, Hospitality or a related area is also desirable.
