The Head of Sales defines, articulates, and implements the organisation’s strategy for selling the Educational Institutions services. He/she develops forecasts and strategies to achieve sales at price levels to ensure profitability. He/she actively seeks out major customers and forms good relationships with key influencers.
He/she should be kept abreast of industry trends, market, and competitors’ activities, and serves as a business representative at major industry events, open days, or Education fairs. He/she is a team leader that can motivate and ensure a highly effective team of sales managers and executives.
He/she has strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills. He/she must have a good understanding of market demand and customer purchasing behaviour. He/she is also required to build and maintain quality relationships with customers, stakeholders, and other companies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead to ensure that the revenue targets for the group are achieved.
- Lead the internal sales team to achieve the targets.
- Lead the external sales team to achieve the targets.
- Work closely with the marketing team and the support teams to ensure the smooth running of revenue generation activities: from recruitment and registration to input into new marketing campaigns to ensure that leads are healthy and sufficient to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage and provide feedback to management pertaining to revenue generation.
- Recruitment and hiring of internal and external sales teams to ensure that the revenue targets can be achieved.
- Strategize opportunities and new channels of sales to achieve revenue targets.
- Other responsibilities within the scope as deemed necessary.
- Streamline the enrolment process and shorten the sales cycle.
- Develop and implement sales strategies.
- Assist in creating and driving marketing efforts in leads generation.
- Identify new opportunities in driving more enrolments.
- Identifying the company’s revenue target into meaningful goals for the sales team.
- Create sales plans for the internal and external sales teams including management of incentive structures.
- Create an aggregator framework & lead aggregators to ensure that the revenue targets are achieved.
