Corporate Strategy Analyst

Description

The Corporate Strategy Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the development and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives. This role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and providing insights that inform the company’s long-term goals. The Corporate Strategy Analyst will work closely with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, evaluate competitive dynamics, and develop strategic plans that drive the company’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to help guide company decisions.
  • Analyse data from various sources to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks.
  • Create clear and visually appealing presentations to share findings and ideas with company leaders.
  • Work with different departments to ensure that our strategies align with the company’s goals.
  • Help track the progress of our strategic projects and report on their performance.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for meetings with senior management and external partners.
  • Participate in meetings with key industry partners, government officials, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the development of new business ideas, partnerships, and growth opportunities.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data and Business Analytics or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Project Management, or a related analytical role.
  • Ability in verifying, analysing, and tracking key business metrics.
  • Experience in conducting market/industry research and competitive analysis.
  • Familiarity with the startup environment, with hands-on experience in navigating dynamic settings.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Suite, especially:
  • Excel/ Google Sheets (data analysis, modelling)
  • PowerPoint/ Google Slides (presentations).

Analytical & Research Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Possess strong command of the English Language.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and external stakeholders.

Other Attributes:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Curious, self-motivated, and proactive.
