Description

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a part time IT Support Officer to join our internal IT team, providing day-to-day technical support to Access4 staff across the business. Working closely with our IT Support & Systems Administrator, you’ll help keep our internal systems, hardware and tools running smoothly, supporting everything from helpdesk requests through to systems administration and user training.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Log, triage and escalate internal service requests in line with defined SLAs
  • Manage the setup and configuration of laptops, mobile devices and user accounts for staff
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a tech setup perspective
  • Maintain IT asset registers, ensuring equipment is properly tracked and labelled
  • Assist with software updates, patching and system maintenance across the business
  • Support the rollout of new internal tools or platforms alongside the IT Support & Systems Administrator
  • Contribute to training, documentation and knowledge-sharing for internal stakeholders
  • Uphold IT security standards and follow Access4’s internal policies and procedures
  • Provide friendly, professional support to colleagues across all departments
  • Handle personal data in line with Access4’s privacy and data handling policies, and report any actual or suspected data breaches per internal procedure
  • Stay aware of and comply with Access4’s ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001), participating in related training and audits as required

What You’ll Bring

  • A Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Information Technology (or related discipline), or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems and networking concepts
  • Strong internal stakeholder support and relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise across multiple tasks
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams and Windows environments
  • Prior exposure to helpdesk ticketing systems is preferrable
