Forklift Service Technician

Access Solutions are looking for a qualified heavy diesel technician experienced in the repair and maintenance of forklifts.

We need a switched-on tech who has an in-depth knowledge of a range of forklifts, with good diagnostic and repair ability. Auto electrical skills would be a welcome bonus, as would be your ability to be a team player and be focused on customer needs.

Duties include:

• Daily service & repairs on company Forklift rental/lease fleet

• Daily service & repairs on retail customers Forklift equipment

• Workshop repairs as required

• Carry out Pre-delivery inspections of new equipment as required

• Complete all paperwork as required

• Ensure all work carried out is of a high standard to maintain company standards

• Provide first class customer service to clients at all times

Key attributes:

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic with hands-on experience

• Strong forklift knowledge and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent time management and organization skills

• The ability to use initiative, remain calm under pressure and deal with priorities that can change in the course of a day.

• Committed to safety for yourself and others around you.

• Take pride in your work and assist the rest of the team as required

A minimum of three years industry experience as a forklift specialist is required, as are the relevant trade qualifications.
