Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute innovative and technology-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of the group’s activities
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement new systems and technologies within the group
- Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation that can be utilised in future business development initiatives
- Oversee the management of software and other IT projects from conception through to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for innovation initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to support innovation projects
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new systems
About you:
- Tertiary qualified, with a relevant Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years in ports, logistics or related industrial supply chain businesses
- Proven track record of leading successful innovation initiatives and managing complex projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and communication
- Proficiency in project management, methodologies and tools
- Ability to think strategically and drive change within organizations
