Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute innovative and technology-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of the group’s activities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement new systems and technologies within the group
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation that can be utilised in future business development initiatives
  • Oversee the management of software and other IT projects from conception through to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for innovation initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to support innovation projects
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new systems

About you:

  • Tertiary qualified, with a relevant Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in ports, logistics or related industrial supply chain businesses
  • Proven track record of leading successful innovation initiatives and managing complex projects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and communication
  • Proficiency in project management, methodologies and tools
  • Ability to think strategically and drive change within organizations
