About WEA Co

Learning that connects

WEA Co is a not-for-profit education organisation committed to creating inclusive, accessible learning opportunities that strengthen individuals and communities. For generations, we’ve believed education is about more than qualifications. It’s about confidence, connection, and opening doors.

Working at WEA Co means being part of this impact across our communities.

The work is grounded in social impact, community connection, and meeting people where they are, with the right support to succeed.

Our work is delivered through two purpose-driven streams.

Novo Education

Novo Education is a wellbeing-first school for students in Years 9 to 12 who need something different. With small classes, one-on-one mentoring, and a trauma-informed approach, Novo supports students to feel safe, learn confidently, and plan for what’s next.

Students reconnect with learning in a way that works for them, develop pathways to TAFE, university, or work, and build confidence, life skills, and future plans.

The Community College

The Community College offers affordable, inclusive training for adults across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. Many programs are supported by NSW Government initiatives such as Smart and Skilled and ACE funding.

We support learners to build job-ready skills, upskill in their current roles, grow confidence in digital technology, literacy, and life skills, stay connected through social and creative courses, and access traineeships and accredited workplace learning.

A word from our CEO / Principal

Hear from our CEO, Natasha, on why WEA Co evolved our brand, what we stand for, and the communities we’re here to support.

This is a reflection of how we think about our work, our people, and the impact we’re here to make.
