Currently seeking an experienced, Full-Time Anaesthetic Administration Assistant to join our experienced administrative team, as they provide support to our 55 anaesthetists, surgeons, and patients.

This role has a broad range of medical administration duties and training will be provided

This is a busy role to which the ideal candidate will bring:

• Previous experience in computerised billing and receipting in a medical environment with a strong knowledge of health fund schemes,

Medicare, electronic claiming, and fee schedules.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Sound knowledge of medical terminology

• An understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needs.

• An ability to work effectively both independently and in a team to achieve common goals.

• An ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasks.

• An ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal/external demands.

• The ability to follow direction, accept and respond to feedback, learn new tasks, adapt to change, and show initiative.

Essential criteria:

• Experience in a surgical specialty or anaesthetic practice

• A happy and easy-going demeanour.

• Committed, Connected, and Focused team player.

Desirable criteria:

• Experience using MediTrust Practice Management Software

• Knowledge of Anaesthetic Billing
