Join Our Team at Rollers Bakehouse!

We are looking for a creative and motivated Senior Pastry Chef to join our team and help deliver high-quality baked goods while maintaining top-tier standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety. In this role, you'll play a key part in producing delicious pastries and bakery items and contributing to the smooth daily operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and plan innovative recipes to feature on our menu, ensuring fresh and exciting offerings.
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, baked goods, and other bakery items, ensuring consistency and quality in every product.
Create new seasonal recipes and incorporate fresh, high-quality ingredients into menu offerings.
Decorate pastries to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
Ensure all baked products meet high-quality standards and are consistent in taste, texture, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with WHS (Work Health and Safety) legislation and adhere to all food safety regulations.
Contribute to the development and implementation of a Food Safety System, including training, compliance, and documentation.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure safe work methods are in place.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience as a Senior Pastry Chef or similar role, with demonstrated leadership skills
Strong knowledge of pastry production techniques, recipes, and ingredients
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead a team
Understanding of WHS legislation and food safety standards
