Job Description: Driver

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Driver to join our busy team. As a Furniture Removal Driver, you will be responsible for safely loading & unloading goods and materials from one location to another within the Sunshine Coast, Queensland area. There will be occasional long distance or interstate moves on offer also.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent driving skills, have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience (preferred), and hold a valid MR Manual Truck Licence.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.

- Load and unload items onto the vehicle while ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.

- Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods.

- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, etc., and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving company vehicles.

- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner during deliveries.

- Communicate effectively with office staff regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays or issues encountered on the road.

Skills:

- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record

- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations

- Good time management skills for efficient route planning

- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

- Exceptional customer service skills

Qualifications:

-Minimum 2 years' experience in furniture removals (preferred)

-MR Manual Truck Licence (minimum)

-Good physical stamina for loading/unloading items
