Position Description

The successful applicant will be required to produce structural documentation for reinforced concrete, post tensioned concrete, and steel framed structures on medium to large scale projects as well as management of the software systems, document control and quality assurance. Documentation will primarily be provided in REVIT for both concrete and steel structures.

Your Qualifications and Capabilities

Ideally you will have:

4-8 years full-time experience in a structural drafting role, preferably including work within steel and concrete building structures, multi-level construction knowledge and PT experience is advantageous
A strong background in detailing concrete, reinforcement, and steelwork (very advantageous)
Tertiary qualifications in engineering drafting (preferred but not mandatory)
Ability to prepare engineering drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD
Competent level of knowledge and experience in structural engineering design and documentation, attained in consulting engineering office or recent TAFE experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work individually & as part of a team
