Catering Project, a leading provider of high-quality catering services, is seeking talented Full-time or Casual Cake Maker/Decorator to join our team in Glebe, NSW. As the Cake Maker/Decorator, you will be responsible for designing, decorating, and finishing cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods according to customer requests and business standards.

Key Responsibilities

Bake and decorate a variety of cakes, cupcakes, and other pastries to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Develop innovative cake designs and flavour combinations to meet client specifications

Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards

Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless delivery of catering orders

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies

What We're Looking For

Experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or a related field.

Certificate III in Cake and Pastry

Excellent communication skills, time and resource management.

Strong attention to details and the ability to produce high quality consistent food products.

Strong artistic and creative skills.

Attention to detail and precision.

Knowledge of different types of icings, fondants, and decorating tools.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Food safety and hygiene knowledge (e.g., food handling certification).
